The Zahir started six years ago, and has remained a vessel of quality writing and firm opinions since its birth. We have an archive of the magazines from four years ago, and the articles are as valid now as they were when they were written.
My second edition as editor – volume six, issue three – was the first time we’d re-designed the magazine since its conception. I wanted it to become accessible, to convey the idea of experimentation that we should actively encourage at university – after all, when else will we have the opportunity to use such a testing ground? I love it, and I genuinely hope that you do too. But if you don’t, tell me. After all, that’s what The Zahir‘s all about.
